5 Seconds Of Summer: Rock Out With Your Socks Out Tour (Madrid 2015)
A few weeks we posted a small blog post about our trip to Madrid in May 2015. As the post says we actually went there for the concert of 5 Seconds of Summer that’s why we only stayed one night. So now what we are going to explain you is our experience at the concert and also our experience for the VIP Soundcheck Experience.
Let’s skip all the part where we wake up early, take the plane...and go direct to the afternoon: After we had lunch we wanted to go to the Hey Violet acoustic hangout but we got lost (typical us) so yeah, we missed it but the bad thing was that the hangout was just an hour before the Soundcheck Experience people had to start queuing and when we got lost we ended up really far away so we were rushing till the Arena while a girl we knew was queuing for us.
Once we got there just on time we were super stressed but at least we made it although we were pretty at the end of the queue. I mean, we were like no problem, we have our own seat...well we didn’t! For the soundcheck everyone is on the seated area and the earlier you got in the closer you were but we didn’t knew and when we got in they were already playing Highway to Hell from AC/DC while looking at everyone coming down the stairs. When me and Sandra saw people on our seats we went there like what?!
We were supposed to go at the very back but we were like hell no so there was just one chair free that was next to the hallway so we decided to seat there the both of us trying not to make it really obvious. The Soundcheck was so intimate and it’s really cool when they sit on the front of the runway and talk to everyone. After that we had to go out and while we were waiting we could buy merch.
Now for the actual concert just WOW! It was amazing and being on the second row it was a really good decision because obviously you are on the middle and you see everything perfectly. They bring so much energy on stage and also Hey Violet was amazing. Everyone that have gone to a 5sos concert know what I’m talking about, if you haven’t then I hope you can soon because you have the best time ever there.
